Hannah's story
A fenced-in yard is essential if you wish to adopt this dog.
Hannah is a purebred German Shepherd dog, born on January 1, 2018. She has silky black hair, and, when she is warmed up to someone, becomes playful and will give them soft kisses and attention, but not jump up and down on them. She also takes food gently; she does not wolf her food down and doesn't seem to have a large appetite. Because of her innate inclination to be on guard and fearful at first, it is absolutely integral that whoever adopts her will commit to a positive training course that helps her manage that fear and polish up her manners a bit, including if possible around cats. I believe the result will be a cherished companion for the whole family. The adoption fee is $300. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: http://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/DogAdoptionApplication.html. We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly. After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.
